Follow up with new readers and prospects at every opportunity you get. When a new reader visits my blog and leaves a comment for the first time, I follow up with an introductory email (always personalized) welcoming them to my blog and explaining (very briefly) what I do. In many cases, I take the time to send a video email since I find it&#039;s more impacting. 

This technique has (at least in my experience) built the quality of my contacts through my blog.</description>
